Have you calculated the number of extra trips you make?
Imagine you could know which vehicle is nearest to the location of your next service and that this could receive directions to get to the site without getting lost, how much do you think you could save?
If your activity consists of the receipt of orders from your clients and the dispatching of vehicles to numerous locations you could achieve reductions of more than 20% in mileage and fuel consumption, eliminating delays. Learn about the features of Tecmic’s Dispatch and Navigation and discover how you can save.
The Dispatch and Navigation solution allows you to receive all service orders sent from the fleet management application – iZiTraN or XTraN – and navigate automatically to the site. Based on the services awaiting acceptance by the employee, that are listed and waiting to be initiated, you’ll always have information on:
- Services to be carried out;
- Refused services;
- Performed services.
Some information regarding the features of the system:
What is the nearest vehicle to run the services?
Your customer will be able to easily get information to determine the closest vehicle to the site of the service, as well as its status at that precise moment:
- In service
- Available
The system permits the drivers to accept or reject the service. If the service is accepted, it won’t be marked as initiated in the system until the driver presses the “Start” key. This allows drivers to manage their list of services, integrating them with the Dispatch and Navigation system that controls all aspects of the services up to their completion.
Who are the employees that are in the vehicles?
Certain services are required to be carried out by certain employees or vehicles. The application allows you to know which employees are registered in the vehicles and choose the closest and most appropriate for the service.
How to get to the service site?
After the service is noted as Started, the system will automatically navigate to the destination, allowing drivers to save time and providing significant energy savings.
How does the driver know that he’s received a new service and the corresponding details?
When a new service is received the driver receives an alert on the console. To consult the details of the service he simply clicks on it. In the service menu the user can see the status of all his services.
